Willard D. "Sonny" Flasher

Willard D. “Sonny” Flasher, 84, of Maddensville Pike, Orbisonia, PA, died Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his home.

Born December 18, 1936 at Three Springs, PA, he was a son of the late Lawrence K. “Hunk” and Viola (Snyder) Flasher. He was united in marriage to the former Gloria Jean Anderson on December 7, 1963 at Saltillo, PA. Mrs. Flasher preceded in death on September 11, 2003.

He is survived by two sons, Dennis D. Flasher of Maddensville Pike, Orbisonia, PA and Douglas Lee Flasher, (N.H.A.) and wife Jill of RD, Mapleton, PA. He is also survived by one grandson, Grayson Flasher and three siblings, Saundra Miller of Hanover, PA, Joseph Flasher of Shippensburg, PA and Samuel Flasher of Three Springs, PA. He was preceded in death by four sisters,Viola Flasher, Kathleen Flasher, Judith Cutshall and Patricia Snyder.

He was employed for many years by Wible Bottling Works, Inc., Three Springs, PA, until it’s closure. He then retired as a self employed appliance and refrigeration repairman after many years.

During his life he enjoyed going to flea markets.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Old School Baptist Cemetery, Three Springs, PA with Pastor Faith Anderson officiating.
