Wanda L. (Thomas) Clark

Wanda L. Clark, 72, of Clark Road, Shirleysburg, PA, died Saturday, October 19, 2019 at UPMC Altoona.

Born June 8, 1947 at Huntingdon, PA, she was a daughter of the late Aubrey and Helen (Shore) Thomas. She was united in marriage to Gary I. Clark who survives at their home. They were together for over 50 years. 

Also surviving are four children, Edith Myers and husband Steven of Sterling, NE, Micheal Watkins and companion Nikki Watkin of RD, Mapleton, PA, Richard Clark and wife Sarah of Dublin, OH and Michele Fogal and husband Kelly of Robertsdale, PA, ten grandchildren, Kristyn Harshbarger, Bethany Nace, Matthew Bossinger, Shane Fogal, Ty Fogal, Ian Clark, Alanna Clark, Sean Clark, Haylee Watkin and Kamryn Watkin, four great grandchildren, Harmony, Natalie, Kassidy and Liam and three sisters, Diane Foster of Donation, PA, Sue Kester of Mt. Union, PA and Noreen Varner of Florida. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Harshbarger and two brothers, James Thomas and Aubrey Thomas, Jr.

Mrs. Clark attended the Pentecostal Freedom Church, Mt. Union, PA. She had been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Orbisonia-Rockhill Volunteer Fire Company.

During her life she was primarily a homemaker.

She was immensely proud of her family. She loved spending time with her husband, sisters, friends, children and grandchildren. Her life goal was to help others. She was never selfish and tried to help everyone she met. She was a loving woman who gave all she could give to everyone.

As her health declined she would always say she was ready to go live with God in heaven.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA. Interment will be made at Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home 7 - 9 PM Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
