V. Wallace Centi

V. Wallace Centi, 83, of Three Springs, PA, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 24, 2023, with his loving wife by his side.  

Born January 11, 1940 in Clay Township, Huntingdon County, PA, he was the son of the late Domenico, Sr. and Madeline (Dudash) Centi.  Mr. Centi was united in marriage to Priscilla M. Nead on October 12, 1963.  Mrs. Centi survives at home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Michele E. Hann, wife of Robert C. Hann, Jr. and Kevin R. Centi, husband of Valerie R. Centi, both of Three Springs, PA and four grandchildren, Alisha Hann and fiance Gunner, Emily Brant and husband Evan, Amanda Rogers and partner Nate and Matthew Centi and wife Lindsay.  He was blessed with eight great grandchildren, Easton, Aubree, Emmett, Camden, Aurora, Ezra, Madeline and Ellie.  Also surviving is one brother, August J. Centi and wife Winifred of Somerset, PA.

Mr. Centi was preceded in death by three siblings, Mary Ansell, Domenico Centi, Jr. and Eleanor Ansell.

He was a 1959 graduate of Saltillo High School and the former Williamsport Technical Institute.  After graduating from Williamsport, he was self-employed as a contractor and worked for a number of companies in the building and highway construction industry as a superintendent, in which later he retired.

Mr. Centi loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He also enjoyed visits from his extended family.  He enjoyed nature, snowmobiling, hunting and most everything outdoors.  Throughout his life, he was especially fond of maintaining and working the family farm as a hobby farmer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Roland W. Nead officiating.  Interment will be at Cherry Grove Cemetery, Three Springs, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
