Travis T. Cornelius, 49, formerly of Saltillo, PA and more recently of Orbisonia, PA, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 13, 2022. In recent years he was well cared for and loved by the staff of IFC Services.
Born October 3, 1972 at Huntingdon, PA, he was a son of the late B. Eugene and Nancy (Greenland) Cornelius.
He is survived by three siblings, Kimberly Kimmel and husband Mark of Elizabeth, CO, Tracy Cornelius and wife Karla of Orbisonia and Todd Cornelius of Saltillo. He is also survived by eleven beloved nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Travis was a 1994 graduate of Mount Union High School Life Skills Support Class where he was active in Special Olympics events. He was a member of the Calvary Independent Baptist Church, Saltillo, PA. He also recently attended services at the First United Methodist Church, Mt. Union, PA.
Travis could often be seen greeting people at his church, sporting events at the Southern Huntingdon County High School and at the Three Springs Community Swimming Pool. He loved music and for many years sang at churches and for the annual Pride Telethon.
He especially enjoyed music session car rides with his brother Todd. Another love of his was food and he enjoyed Sunday spaghetti dinners with Tracy and Karla.
While he will be missed here by many, Travis loved his dad and mom with all his heart and we know he is overjoyed to be with them in Heaven.
