Shirley A. Henry

Shirley A. Henry, 77, of Maddensville Pike, Hustontown, PA, died Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.

Born June 13, 1944 at Pittsburgh, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles Boyd and Betty L. (Christoff) Brown. She is survived by her step mother, Lola Martin of Orbisonia, PA. She was united in marriage to Kenneth C. Henry on May 27, 1967 at the Orbisonia Church of the Nazarene, Rockhill Furnace, PA by Rev. Donald Keith. Mr. Henry preceded in death on August 24, 2003.

She is also survived by one son, Timothy J. Henry of Maddensville Pike, Hustontown, PA, one brother, Jerry Brown of Three Springs, PA, one step brother, Tom Lane of Shade Gap, PA and one step sister, Sandra Berrier of Shirleysburg, PA.

Mrs. Henry attended the Eternal Life Tabernacle, Shirleysburg, PA and the Walnut Grove Church of God, RD, Three Springs, PA.

She retired from Woodland Retirement Community, now Embassy at Woodland Park, Orbisonia after 20 years service in the housekeeping department. She had also been employed at Greif Brothers Manufacturing, Mt. Union, PA and as a cafeteria worker in the Southern Huntingdon County School District.

She enjoyed and took great pride in her flowers and will be remembered as a very kind person who gave to many.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Pastor Alann Schmidt and Pastor Ramon Morgan officiating. Interment will be made at Clear Ridge Cemetery, N. Clear Ridge Road, Hustontown, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home 6 - 8 PM on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
