Shirley E. Booher

Shirley E. Booher, 90, formerly of Three Springs, PA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the Long Term Care Unit of the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.

Born September 24, 1930 in Hares Valley, RD, Mapleton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Clair and Hazel (Waters) Bowman. She was united in marriage to Chester Ray Booher on June 24, 1947 at Saltillo, PA. Mr. Booher preceded in death on October 7, 2007.

She is survived by four children, Chris Booher of Lehighton, PA, Colleen Booher of McConnellsburg, PA, Loree Everhart of Hustontown, PA and Brad Booher of Hustontown, PA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Scott Besecke, Ellen Kastner, Bon Scott Booher, Raeann Heaster, Alison Baker, Cori Mammarella and Chad Booher and nine great grandchildren. One grandson, Heath McCardle, preceded in death.

Mrs. Booher was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Three Springs, PA.

She was employed for many years at the Woodland Retirement Center, Orbisonia, as a CNA.

She enjoyed cooking and baking and above all spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
