Sandra K. (Smith) Talbot

Sandra K. Talbot, 72, formerly of Saltillo, PA, died on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at her son's home in Mapleton Depot, PA.

Born on July 10, 1947 in Cass Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Ruth (Whitsel) Smith.

She was united in marriage to James Talbot, Sr. on April 18, 1979.  Mr. Talbot preceded in death on November 10, 2011.

Mrs. Talbot is survived by two sons and two step-sons:  Dennis Collins, Sr. and wife Laura of Mapleton Depot, PA; Kenneth Collins of Bedford, PA; James Robert Talbot, Jr. of Three Springs, PA and Christopher Talbot of Shirleysburg, PA.  Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  One great-grandson preceded in death.

Three sisters and two brothers survive:  Mildred Brown; Evadine Wilbur and husband George; Deb Shope and husband Dale; Darryl Smith and wife Cathy; and Robert Smith and wife Lou.  Two sisters, Edwina Rutter and Donna Lepley and two brothers, Veril Smith and Eugene Smith preceded in death.

Mrs. Talbot was a member of the First Baptist Church, Three Springs, PA.

During her lifetime, she was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of the neighborhood animals.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley Street, Orbisonia, PA with Pastor Todd Griest officiating.  Interment will be at Saltillo Cemetery, Saltillo, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
