Sandra M. Snyder

Sandra M. Snyder, 74, formerly of Burnt Cabins, PA and more recently of Wells Tannery, PA, died Saturday, November 2, 2024 at UPMC Altoona.

Born December 17, 1949 at Burnt Cabins, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Maudelene (Cook) Glunt. She was united in marriage to Larry J. Snyder on December 17, 1970. Mr. Snyder preceded in death on October 13, 2013.

She is survived by two children, Amy Lynn Snyder of Charlotte, NC and Christopher Larry Snyder of Wells Tannery, two grandsons, Austin Snyder and Mason Snyder and one sister, Barbara Slodysko of Burnt Cabins. One son, Bryan Snyder, preceded in death.

Mrs. Snyder was a member of the Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church, Shade Gap, PA.

She was a graduate of the Harrisburg Polyclinic School of Nursing and was employed as a registered nurse for over 50 years.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church, 22776 Piper Lane, Shade Gap, PA with Pastor Glenn Rousselle officiating. Interment will be made at Fair Ridge Cemetery, adjacent to the church. Friends may call at the church 6 - 8 PM on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
