Royal C. “Pete” Clevenger died Friday August 21, 2026 at the Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.

Born on December 21, 1932, he was the son of the late Royal Clevenger and the former Ruth Rhodes. 

Mr. Clevenger is survived by two sons, Royal Clevenger and wife Barbara and Darrell Clevenger and wife Kim, along with eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by siblings Bealah Siders, Bertha Knable, Patricia Black, Deloris Mills and Tom Cromwell.

One daughter, Deborah Nesbit and two siblings, Donald Clevenger and Betty Clippinger preceded him in death.

Pete was a veteran of the United States Army who also served in the Korean War. 

He was loved by many and was most known for his flea market. He loved to sell his produce as well. 

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, PA with Pastor Ben Holler officiating. Interment will be made at the Booth Cemetery following the service. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
