Ross D. Lane, Sr.

Ross D. Lane, Sr., 80, of Chambersburg, PA, died Sunday, January 12, 2025 at his home.

Born August 30, 1944 at Mount Union, PA, he was a son of the late Cloyd and Louella (Hayes) Lane. He was united in marriage to the former Betty Reihart on February 15, 1964. Mrs. Lane survives at their home.

He is survived by one granddaughter, Roslyn Lane, two brothers, Tony Lane and Max Hayes and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by one son, Ross Lane, Jr.

During his life he was employed by Manitowoc, Inc., Shady Grove, PA, as a welder.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Walnut Grove Church of God, 9002 Walnut Grove Church Road, Three Springs, PA with Pastor Mike Walker officiating. Interment will be made at Walnut Grove Cemetery, adjacent to the church. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
