Ronald D. Brumbaugh, Sr.

Ronald D. Brumbaugh, Sr., 83, of Mount Union, PA, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Penn Highlands Huntingdon Hospital.

Born June 18, 1942 at Hopewell Twp. PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Ruth (Reed) Brumbaugh. He was united in marriage on November 10, 1962 to the former Sandra D. Semple at the Saxton First Church of God. Ms. Brumbaugh survives at their home. A brother, Clair Brumbaugh and a sister, Shirley Brumbaugh, preceded him in death.

Ronald Sr. is survived by a brother, Gary Brumbaugh of Saxton, PA. He is also survived by three sons, Ronald D. Brumbaugh, Jr. and wife Tonya of Mt. Union, Pa, Craig A. Brumbaugh and wife Tammy, of Mt. Union, PA, and Scott A. Brumbaugh, and wife Mary, of Mt. Union, PA. Ronald had six granddaughters, Nakisha Wilson, Sierra Brown, Mikayla Brumbaugh, Carisa Brumbaugh, Dorothy Brumbaugh, and Casandra Brumbaugh. Ronald also had three great-grandchildren, Austin Wilson, Brookelynn Wilson, and Josephine Brown, along with a great-great grandchild, Beckett Wilson.

Ronald was a lifetime hunter. He enjoyed going to flea markets and collecting antiques. Ronald was also a life long fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Penn State Nittany Lion Football. Mr. Brumbaugh was a member of the Pentecostal Freedom Church and the Mt.Union Senior Citizens Center.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday January 24, 2026 at the Pentecostal Freedom Church, 14779 Croghan Pike, Mt Union, PA with the Rev. Richard Hamman officiating. Interment will be made at the Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg, PA. There will be a meal at the church following the Interment. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
