Robert Shope Obituary
Robert Wayne “Bobby” Shope, 62, of Hares Valley Road, Mapleton, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his home.
Born February 19, 1959 at Huntingdon, PA, he was the son of Richard, Sr. and Laura (Houck) Shope, who survive of Three Springs, PA.
He is also survived by five siblings, Beverly Hoffman and husband Robert, Jr. of Three Springs, PA, Debbie Cornelius and husband Lanny of Hustontown, PA, Richard Shope, Jr and wife Deb of Mapleton, PA, Paula Wible and husband Gary of Three Springs, PA and Timothy Shope of Port Royal, PA, six nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by two nephews, his paternal grandparents, John and Olive Shope and his maternal grandparents, William and Anna Houck.
He was employed by Henkels and McCoy, Inc., Blue Bell, PA, for 43 years as a foreman.
Mr. Shope enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, fishing and hunting.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Cassville Cemetery with Pastor Todd Griest officiating.
