Robert D. Greenland

Robert D. Greenland, 87, of Three Springs, PA, died Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at his home.

Born July 10, 1936 at Saltillo, PA, he was a son of the late Samuel and Lillian (Hoffman) Greenland. He was united in marriage to the former Reta Hollibaugh on August 6, 1955. Mrs. Greenland survives at their home.

He is survived by one son, Craig Greenland and wife Genia of Three Springs, one daughter in law, Linda Greenland of Three Springs, four grandchildren, Clayton Greenland, Emily Coon, Shea Greenland and Channing Greenland, six great grandchildren and one sister, Darlene Horton and husband Jack of Three Springs. One son, Timothy Greenland, one brother, Edwin Greenland and three sisters, Dorothy Wible, Miriam Greenland and Linda Bennett, preceded in death.

Mr. Greenland was a member of Cromwell Lodge #572 F. & A. M., Orbisonia, PA, Jaffa Shrine, Altoona, PA and the Orbisonia Lions Club.

He was last employed as the water/sewer operator at SCI, Huntingdon, PA and prior to that served in the same capacity for the Orbisonia Rockhill Joint Municipal Authority.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed going to his camp in Potter County.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
