Richard Miller Obituary

Richard C. Miller, 67, of Orbisonia, PA, died Friday, November 26, 2021 in Todd Twp., Huntingdon Co., as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Born July 11, 1954 at Huntingdon, PA, he was a son of the late Richard Miller and Beverly (Doyle) McElrath. He had been married to the former Carolyn McMath who preceded in death.

He is survived by three children, Jennifer Heaster and husband Scott of Sykesville, MD, Richie Miller of Rockhill Furnace, PA and Matt Miller and wife Krysta of Greencastle, PA and five grandchildren, Taylor Heaster, Emmalyn Heaster, Ally Miller, Masalyna Miller and Grant Miller. He is also survived by three siblings, Craig Miller and wife Nancy of Gambrills, MD, William McElrath and wife Karen of Orbisonia and Annette LaBarre and husband Scott of Bethlehem, PA.

Mr. Miller was a member of Mt. Union Lodge #688, F. & A. M., Mt. Union, PA. He retired from Johnson Controls, Inc., Waynesboro, PA after 35 years service.

He was an avid hunter, enjoyed watching the Steelers but what he loved most of all was spending time with his five grandchildren.

Friends may call 12 noon until 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huntingdon County Humane Society, 11371 School House Hollow Road, Huntingdon, PA 16652.
