Peggy Wilson Obituary

Peggy Ann Walker Wilson, 90, formerly of Jefferson School Road, Three Springs, PA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.

Born January 25, 1933 at Wood, PA, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Pearl (Painter) Stinson. She was united in marriage to Ronald H. Walker, Sr. on July 11, 1959. Mr. Walker preceded in death on August 1, 1988. She later married Lee R. Wilson on December 1, 2000. Mr. Wilson preceded in death on May 1, 2014.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald H. Walker, Jr. and wife Melissa of Three Springs and Allen D. Walker and wife Melody of Three Springs, six grandchildren, Justin Walker and wife Paige, Jordan Walker, Victoria Dennis and husband Craig, Seth Walker, Chelsey Shaw and husband Cameron and Dolan Cohenour and companion Jaimie Conrad and five great grandchildren, Oaklynn Rose Dennis, Gemma Rose Dennis, Karson Shaw, Averie Shaw and Scarlett Kleo Walker. She is also survived by stepchildren, Kenneth Wilson of Three Springs and Donna Lee Wilson of Three Springs, stepgrandchildren, Travis Wilson and wife Stacy, Tanya Young and husband Jason, Jason Wilson and wife Tina and Kenda Sovero and husband Rocco and step great grandchildren, T. J. Wilson, MacKenzie Wilson, Wilson Young, Tanner Young, Gavin Sovero and Abigail Sovero. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Danian Cohenour and a brother, Duane Stinson.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Three Springs where she served as a Sunday School teacher, a member of the choir and also did some solo work.

She graduated from the former Robertsdale High School where she was secretary of her class, sang in the chorus, played in the high school band and the Huntingdon County Band and was president of the Band Mothers. After high school she graduated from the Huntingdon Business College and was employed by county Commissioner Raymond English, General Finance Corporation and The Budget Plan. She was later a receptionist at the First National Bank and also employed by Les McClain and Ted Guerin, all in Huntingdon, District 4 Justice Office in Saltillo for 3 years and the former RobNewVan, Inc., Shade Gap, PA.  Her last employment was at the Huntingdon County Planning office from 1993 until her retirement in 2011. She also operated a notary office in her home for several years.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Southern Huntingdon County Business and Professional Women’s Club and the Woodland Auxiliary.

Her greatest love was her family Ronald Walker, Sr. and Lee R. Wilson. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, step children, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Pastor Todd Griest officiating. Interment will be made at the I. O. O. F. Memorial Cemetery, Broad Top, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home 6 - 8 PM on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Three Springs, 8655 Hudson St., Three Springs, PA 17264.
