Peggy Sue Runk

Peggy S. Runk, 72, of Huntingdon, PA and formerly of Maddensville, PA, died Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Embassy of Huntingdon Park, Huntingdon, PA.

Born on February 20, 1951 in Huntingdon County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Moses and Ruth (Ramsey) Runk.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Miss Runk was preceded in death by siblings Dorcas Anderson, Wayne Runk and Darlene Garman.

She was a member of Walnut Grove Church of God, Three Springs, PA, a graduate of the Southern Huntingdon County High School - Class of 1970 and later a graduate of The Pennsylvania Rehabilitation Center, Johnstown, PA.

During her lifetime, she especially loved singing gospel music with her family at churches and various gatherings.  She also enjoyed fishing, eating out, and visiting with family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 12, 2024 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley Street, Orbisonia, PA with Pastor Faith Anderson officiating.  Interment will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Three Springs, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
