Patricia A. (Fleming) Thomas

Patricia A. Thomas, 84, formerly of RD, Mapleton, PA, died Monday, February 10, 2020 at Providence Place, Chambersburg, PA, where she had been residing.

Born December 9, 1935 at Three Springs, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Verna (Murphy) Fleming. She was united in marriage to E. Dean Thomas on December 26, 1956. Mr. Thomas survives at Providence Place, Chambersburg.

She is also survived by three children, Rodney Thomas and his wife Pam, Roger Thomas and his wife Rhonda and Patty Gayle Zimmerman and her husband Ken, all of RD, Mapleton, PA, six grandchildren, Michael Thomas, Bethany Thomas, Shane Thomas, Faith Thomas, Abby Zimmerman and Ryan Zimmerman, three great grandchildren, Elayna Thomas, Caylen Thomas and Brynlee Thomas and one brother, Ken Fleming of Etters, PA.

Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Crossview Missional Church, Cassville, PA. She had served on the board of Huntingdon County Children and Youth Services.

During her life she was a registered nurse and retired from the Tuscarora Intermediate Unit as a social worker for special needs children.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 14, 2020 at the former Crossview Missional Church, 7702 Oak St., Saltillo, PA with Pastor Dan Mansberger officiating. Interment will be made at Cornelius Chapel Cemetery, RD, Mapleton, PA. Friends may call at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA 6 - 8 PM on Thursday and at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.
