Patricia A. (Park) Parsons

Patricia A. Parsons, 88, formerly of Orbisonia, PA and more recently of Lewistown, PA, died Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital, Lewistown, PA.

Born on December 24, 1934 in Robertsdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late James Park and Leah F. (Leabhart) Park Cartwright.  She was united in marriage to Robert H. Parsons on May 3, 1953 in Vandergrift, PA.  Mr. Parsons preceded her in death after 53 years of marriage on March 5, 2007.

She is survived by son Robert J. Parsons and wife Jill and their children Ashleigh and Michaelah and daughter Kathy A. Ziegler and husband Dave and their children Amanda, Matthew and David.  Ten great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law Connie Parsons also survive.

Mrs. Parsons was preceded in death by son Donald H. Parsons on September 1, 2022 and brothers Robert Corbett and Jerome Park.

During her lifetime, she was primarily a homemaker and enjoyed playing the piano for the New Life Fellowship Church, Mt. Union, PA and the Orbisonia Church of the Nazarene, Rockhill Furnace, PA.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 23, 2023 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley Street, Orbisonia, PA with Rev. Meagan Boozer officiating.  Interment will be at Orbisonia Cemetery, Orbisonia, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 - 4:00 PM on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
