Pamela K. Hoffman, 73, of Three Springs, PA, died on Friday, May 15, 2020 at her home.
Born on September 7, 1946 in Huntingdon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Helen (Dell) Steel.
She was married to David Hoffman on October 8, 1966. Mr. Hoffman survives at home.
Mrs. Hoffman is survived by her son Brian and wife April, of Greencastle PA. Also surviving are her granddaughters whom she loved very much: Kristin, Kari, and Kaitlyn Hoffman, all of Greencastle, PA; and two brothers: Kevin Steel of Mt. Union, PA and Terry Steel of Orbisonia, PA. One brother, Arthur Duane Dell, preceded in death.
She retired as the Assistant Activities Director at the former Woodland Retirement Center. Mrs. Hoffman had also worked at ELCO, Huntingdon, PA, Cramer Slaughterhouse, and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Hoffman was a lifetime member of the Three Springs Volunteer Fire Company and was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Heritage Baptist Church, Three Springs, PA. Mrs. Hoffman had served on the Three Springs Borough Council and was a founding member of the original Three Springs Ambulance Division.
During her lifetime, she loved fishing, hunting mushrooms, and her dog Rusty.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will be having private services. Interment will be at the Old School Baptist Cemetery, RD, Three Springs, PA.
