Olive Ann Sunderland

Olive Ann Sunderland, 88, formerly of Newton Hamilton and Saltillo, PA, died Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.

Born January 9, 1935 in Springfield Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA, she was the daughter of the late W. Guy and Helen (Miller) Greenland. She was first married to Evan Grissinger who preceded in death. She later married Carl Sunderland who also preceded in death.

She is survived by four children, James Grissinger and wife Patricia of RD, Mapleton, PA, June Yoder and husband Jeffrey of RD, Mapleton, Joel Grissinger of Maryland and Jack Grissinger and wife Karen of RD, Mapleton and three step children, Carl Sunderland and wife Amy, Rick Sunderland and wife Ginger and Darwin Sunderland and wife Cindy. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two siblings, Joy Parr and husband Thomas of Virginia and Gail Greenland and wife Nancy of RD, Mapleton. Two sisters, Jane Mills and Nancy Cornelius and one brother, John Greenland, preceded in death.

Mrs. Sunderland attended Immanuel Bible Church, RD, Three Springs, PA. 

She was employed at the former Elco Corporation, Huntingdon, PA for 31 years.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 30, 2023 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Rev.Steven Heaster officiating. Interment will be made privately at Cherry Grove Cemetery, RD, Three Springs. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Monday.
