Norman B. Mellott

Norman B. Mellott, 90, formerly of Three Springs, PA and more recently a resident of Westminster Woods, Huntingdon, PA, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Penn Highlands Huntingdon, Huntingdon, PA.

Born on April 11, 1934, he was the son of the late Arlie and Margaret (Clippinger) Mellott.  He was united in marriage to Linda Hoover.  Mrs. Mellott survives as a resident at Embassy of Huntingdon Park, Huntingdon, PA.

During his lifetime, he mainly worked as a coal miner, having worked in West Virginia and later for Cooney Brothers Coal Co. in Cambria County, PA, in which he retired after 23 years of service.  In his spare time, he enjoyed farming and operating big equipment.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Rev. David Ford officiating.  Interment will be at Three Springs Cemetery, Three Springs, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
