Milford R. Fortney

Milford R. Fortney, 58, of Germany Valley Road, Mt. Union, PA, danced his way into heaven Saturday, November 9, 2019.

Born December 3, 1960 at Huntingdon, PA, he was a son of Linda (Wagner) Fortney who survives of  RD, Mt. Union, PA and the late Harry J. Fortney.

He is also survived by two children, Natalie Estep and husband Aaron of RD, Mt. Union, PA and Franklin Fortney of East Waterford, PA, three grandchildren, Kendra Estep, Kadence Estep and Colby Fortney and three siblings, Kathy Inch of RD, Mt. Union, PA, Donald Fortney of Mt. Union, PA and Harry Fortney of Broad Top, PA.

He was a member of Blue Juniata Post 5754, V. F. W., Mt. Union, PA, the Sinnemahoning Sportsman’s Association, the Newton-Wayne Sportsman’s Club and was a social member of the Mill Creek Fire Company.

He had been employed at Bonney Forge, Inc., Mt. Union, PA for the past 24 years.

Mr. Fortney was a veteran of the U. S. Army Reserve.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Rev. Clarence Fortney officiating. Interment will be made at Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home 6 - 9 PM on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
