Mildred B. (Smith) Brown

Mildred B. Brown, 90, of Three Springs, PA and more recently of Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA, passed away on March 11, 2024.

Born on February 24, 1934 at her home in Cass Township, Huntingdon County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Ruth (Whitsel) Smith.  She was married to Frank Brown.  Mr. Brown preceded in death on January 19, 1999.

She is survived by sons Kevin Brown and wife Sally, Three Springs, PA and Dennis Brown and wife Janet, Three Springs, PA, daughter Karen Shope, Saltillo, PA and Debra Messner, Huntingdon, PA, who had lived in the Brown home.  

Also surviving are grandchildren Rebecca Roberts and husband Joel, Hilliard, OH and Corrie Mellott and husband Darren, McConnellsburg, PA, great-grandchildren Corwin and Dalton Linton, Wesley Roberts and Callie and Callum Mellott, step-grandchildren Claudia Booher and husband Gary, Saltillo, PA, Sally Benson and companion Rance Garlock, Three Springs, PA and step-great-grandson Brett Booher.

Siblings Evadene Wilbur, Daryl Smith, Robert Smith, Sr. and Debra Shope also survive.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

At the request of Mrs. Brown there will be no viewing or visitation.  Private committal services will be at Three Springs Cemetery, Three Springs, PA at the convenience of the family.
