Martha B. Pesco

Martha B. Pesco, 89, formerly of Three Springs, PA and more recently of Lancaster, PA, died Friday, October 18, 2024 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born April 25, 1935 at Three Springs, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Gladys (Brown) Cohenour. She was united in marriage to Roger J. Pesco, Sr. on August 26, 1951 at McKendree United Methodist Church, Three Springs. Mr. Pesco preceded in death on April 29, 2008.

She is survived by five children, Margaret “Peggy” Stevens and husband Roy of Three Springs, Sharon Keith of Lancaster, Roger Pesco, Jr. of Lancaster, Karen Parsley and husband Gary of  FL and Ruth Huhn of Lancaster, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and sisters Audrey Whitsel of Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA, Patricia Rosenberry of Cincinnati, OH, Janet Brown of Three Springs and Beverly Black of Waterfall, PA. She was preceded in death by one grandson, two brothers and five sisters.

Mrs. Pesco attended St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, Lancaster, PA.

She was employed at Greif Brothers Manufacturing, Inc., Mt. Union, PA for many years and was also a school bus driver for a number of years.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Rev. David Ford officiating. Interment will be made at Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
