Marian F. Glunt

Marian F. Glunt, 101, formerly of Orbisonia, PA, Elizabethtown, PA and East Waterford, PA, died Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.

Born April 29, 1920 at Saltillo, PA, she was a daughter of the late Raymon and Lulu (Kerlin) Curfman. She was united in marriage to William H. Glunt who preceded in death in 1961.

She is survived by four children, William Glunt of East Waterford, PA, Margaret “Peg” Hoffman of Orbisonia, Ethel Basehore and husband Edmund of Fort Myers, FL and Robert Glunt of Elizabethtown. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and two brothers, Carl Curfman of Morganton, NC and George Curfman of Three Springs, PA. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Kay Curfman and Nancy Glunt, two brothers and three sisters. 

Mrs. Glunt had attended Faith United Methodist Church, East Waterford, PA. She had also been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Madden-Wennick Post 518, American Legion, Rockhill Furnace, PA.

She retired from Armstrong Carpet, Inc., Marietta, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 14, 2022 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA. Interment will be made at Orbisonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Monday.
