Madaline G. "Midge" Ashman

Madaline G. “Midge” Ashman, 94, of Orbisonia, PA, died Monday, April 29, 2024 at Aprontree Personal Care Home, Spring Run, PA.

Born March 24, 1930 at Orbisonia, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Gertrude (Yohn) Noble. She was united in marriage to Richard L. “Dick” Ashman. Mr. Ashman preceded in death on December 27, 2005. 

She is survived by three children, Richard L. Ashman, Jr. of Loysville, PA, Judith K. Walker and husband Richard of Three Springs, PA and Joseph L. Ashman and wife Tracie of Harrisonville, PA, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Ashman was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Madden-Wennick Post 518, American Legion, Rockhill Furnace, PA. 

During her life she was a homemaker.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA, with Pastor Craig Knepper officiating. Interment will be made privately at Orbisonia Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
