M. Lucille Glunt

M. Lucille Glunt, 78, formerly of Burnt Cabins, PA, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA surrounded by her family.

Born May 3, 1946 at Waynesboro, PA, she was a daughter of the late Wayne and Mae (Cisney) Rohrer. She was united in marriage to Darrel Glunt on September 4, 1965. Mr. Glunt survives at their home in Burnt Cabins.

She is also survived by three children, Pamela Conrad and husband David of Wellsville, PA, Colleen Starr of Burnt Cabins and Eric Glunt and wife Apryl of Neelyton, PA, six grandchildren, Kristina Davis and husband Ricky, Amanda Geiman and husband Matthew, Kristen Cromwell and husband Christopher, Curtis Starr and wife Hunter, Caleb Glunt and Hannah Glunt and great grandchildren Madison, Brandon, Justin and Savannah Davis, Noah, Grace, Mason and Charlotte Geiman and Kyler, Kaylee and Karsen Cromwell and one sister, Carolyn Rohrer of Shirleysburg, PA.

Mrs. Glunt was a 1964 graduate of Captain Jack High School, Mt. Union, PA.

During her life she was primarily a homemaker and was also employed at the IGA, Mt. Union and at Robin Footwear, Mt. Union.

She enjoyed singing and playing the piano.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Bible Baptist Church, 945 Lincoln Way East, McConnellsburg, PA with Pastor Jim Leslie officiating. Interment will be made at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Shade Gap, PA. Friends may call at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA 6 - 8 PM on Friday and at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions made to the Bible Baptist Church, 945 LWE, McConnellsburg, PA 17233.
