Lois Mae Frehn, 92, Shade Gap, PA died Wednesday afternoon, July 8, 2020 at Long Term Care, Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.
Born November 26, 1927 at Fort Littleton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thad and Emma (Gelvin) Winegardner. She was married to Isaac E. Frehn on July 19, 1946. Mr. Frehn preceded in death on June 6, 2016.
Mrs. Frehn is survived by three children: Nancy Coons and husband Ray, Dry Run, PA; Kay Rosenberry and husband Gerald, Shade Gap, PA; and Ralph Frehn, Shade Gap.
There are nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
One sister LaVerne Brown, Hustontown, PA and two brothers Glenn Winegardner, Fort Littleton, PA and Galen Winegardner, Dry Run, PA also survive.
A brother Dale Winegardner and a sister Emma Lee Brown are deceased.
Mrs. Frehn was a member of the Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church, Shade Gap, PA. In the past, she taught Sunday School and was vice-president of the Women’s Ministry group.
A homemaker, she served on the local election board. She had been a school bus driver and in earlier years worked at Howard Johnson’s on the turnpike, at Shade Gap Elementary School and at several local restaurants.
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be at Fair Ridge Cemetery, Shade Gap, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
