Laura B. (Bucher) Stallman

Laura B. Stallman, 85, formerly of Shirleysburg, PA, died Friday, January 7, 2022 at Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.

Born on June 14, 1936 in Orbisonia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter D. and Zada (Secrist) Bucher.  She was united in marriage to Leo L. Stallman on December 21, 1955.  Mr. Stallman preceded in death on August 11, 1996.

She is survived by children Mary L. Stull, Sandra J. Hocker, David W. Stallman, Betty A. Pittman, Edward F. Stallman and William L. Stallman, nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  Siblings Lewis Bucher, Kirby Bucher and Gladys Basler also survive.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stallman was preceded in death by sisters Lottie Snyder and Mary Kane.

During her lifetime, she was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, cooking, puzzle books and her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, PA with Rev. David Ford officiating.  Interment will be at Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
