Larry Scott Obituary

Larry W. Scott, 68, of Croghan Pike, Shirleysburg, PA died Thursday, January 28, 2021 at his home.

Born on April 11, 1952 in Huntingdon, PA, he was the son of the late Donald V. and Mary Martha (Campbell) Scott.

Mr. Scott is survived by children Amanda Scott and Nathan Scott, both of Denver, PA and grandchildren Allen Ansel, Shyanne LaBarre, and Ember Daye Miller. Also surviving are siblings Donald “Gene” Scott of Mount Union, PA, Richard Scott of Shirleysburg, PA, Dennis Scott of Ephrata, PA and Lois Lancaster of New Paris, PA.

Siblings James Scott, Beverly Frehn, Kay Whitsel, and Gerald “Jud” Scott preceded in death.

Mr. Scott was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

He was a member of Madden-Wennick Post 518, American Legion, Rockhill Furnace, PA where he was a part of the Honor Guard, Blue Juniata Post 5754, V. F. W., and Simpson-Hunt Post 107, American Legion, Mount Union, PA.

Mr. Scott was a graduate of Mount Union Area High School, class of 1972.

The family is planning a memorial service to be held at a later date. Interment will be made at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
