Kevin M. Whitsel

Kevin M. Whitsel, 53, of Cummins Road, Orbisonia, PA, died Saturday, December 27, 2025 at his home.

Born January 27, 1972 at McConnellsburg, PA, he was a son of the late Clarence Whitsel, Sr. and Barbara (Worthy) Whitsel, who survives of Shade Gap, PA.

He is survived by one daughter, Hunter Starr and husband Curtis of Three Springs, PA, five siblings, Bonnie Bucher and husband Richard of Neelyton, PA, Clarence Whitsel, Jr. of Orbisonia, PA, Heidi Whitsel Carthen of Three Springs, PA, Justin Whitsel of Orbisonia, PA and Joshua Whitsel of Willow Hill, PA and a number of nieces and nephews. 

Mr. Whitsel was a 1989 graduate of Southern Huntingdon County High School, where he was a member of the National Honor Society, and the Huntingdon County Vo-Tech School.

He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 237, Orbisonia, PA and was a member of the Order of the Arrow. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Madden-Wennick Post 518, Rockhill Furnace, PA.

An outdoorsman at heart, he was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed cooking on his grill, riding his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle, watching westerns on television and was also very fond of his dog.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
