Kathy J. Wright

Kathy J. Wright, 67, of Mt. Union, PA, died Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

Born June 28, 1957 at Huntingdon, PA, she was a daughter of the late Erman Getz and Eleanor (Sechrest) Wasson.

She is survived by two children, Edward Wright, Jr. and fiance Tena Conner of Mapleton, PA and Danielle Huffnagle and fiance Wayne Lashinsky of Mt. Union. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Mason Huffnagle, Julian Huffnagle, Kaylee Wright, Kyle Wright and Justin Conner and three siblings, Allen Getz of Huntingdon, Sharon Cox of Mt. Union and Dennis Getz of Kistler, PA. She was preceded in death by one son, Travis Wright and one brother, Randy Getz.

Ms. Wright loved cooking, providing care for the elderly and was very fond of animals, especially her dog Bentley.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
