Kathleen V Moody

Kathleen V. Moody, 71, of Shirleysburg, PA, died Thursday, March 19, 2026 at her home.

Born on November 7, 1954 in Bristol, Connecticut. She was united in marriage to James A. Moody on April 24, 1975. Mr. Moody preceded her in death on March 9, 2020.

She is survived by four children, Joseph Moody, Christina Swanger and companion Brad, Barbara Prato and husband Mario and William Moody. Along with her children she is survived by six grandchildren, Levi, Eion, Timothy, Cassandra, April and Jackson as well as two great grandchildren, Francis and Ember. One sister, Valarie, also survives.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, April Moody and her twin brother, Ken Doty. 

During her life she loved country music, specifically Vince Gill, doing crafts, crocheting, making tie blankets and watching the Dallas Cowboys.

Services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
