Karen S. (Brown) Shope

Karen S. Shope, 65, of Saltillo, PA and more recently of Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA., passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Born on June 2, 1959 in Huntingdon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mildred (Smith) Brown.

She is survived by her brothers Kevin Brown and wife Sally and Dennis Brown and wife Janet, all of Three Springs, PA and a special sister who lived in the Brown home, Debra Messner, Huntingdon, PA.  Also surviving are nieces Rebecca Roberts and Corrie Mellott and their children.

At the request of Ms. Shope, there will be no viewing or visitation.  A private committal service will be held at Three Springs Cemetery, Three Springs, PA at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Three Springs, PO Box 55, Three Springs, PA 17264 or to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 896, Hershey, PA 17033.
