Karen E. Rinehart

Karen E. Rinehart, 68, formerly of Spring Grove, PA and more recently of Orbisonia and Mt. Union, died Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Penn Highlands Huntingdon.

Born April 10, 1953 at York, PA, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Catharine (Yost) Wolfe. She was united in marriage to Jeffrey Rinehart on June 5, 1971. Mr. Rinehart preceded in death on October 22, 2018.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Paxton of Huntingdon, PA and Kerry Fox of Fayetteville, PA and one stepson, Jeremy Arentz of East Berlin, PA. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Cody Rinehart, Dalton Ness, Sky Kendall and Hunter Fox and four great grandchildren, Cody Rinehart, Jr., Dante Parsons, Payton Kendall and Raleigh Rinehart. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis Kohler and Shirley Miller.

Mrs. Rinehart was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Spring Grove, PA. She was also a member of the Salvation Army Ladies Auxiliary, Huntingdon, PA.

She was last employed by Raystown Developmental Services, Huntingdon, PA. Prior to that she was employed as an over the road truck driver for many years.

A visitation will be held 6 - 8 PM Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huntingdon County Humane Society, 11371 School House Hollow Road, Huntington, PA 16652 or to the Salvation Army Ladies Auxiliary, 2514 Shadyside Ave., Huntingdon, PA 16652.
