Joyce A. (Pool) Souders

Joyce A. Souders, 71, of Burnt Cabins, PA, died Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Forest Park Healthcare Center, Carlisle, PA.

Born on December 27, 1952 in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Russell Pool, Jr. and Margaret E. (James) Pool.  She was united in marriage to Donald Souders, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by siblings Allen Pool and Peggy Whitsel.  Also surviving are nephew Wayne Pool and wife Ashley, niece Kristina Whittington and husband Roger, Jr., great-nieces Sierra, Savanna and Scarlette, great-nephew Ethan and great-great niece Danielle.

During her lifetime, she worked as a cook prep and dishwasher for the Hershey Country Club.  She enjoyed the great outdoors, camping, animals, watching truck & tractor pulls and spending time visiting with her family.

At Mrs. Souders’ request, no services will be held.
