Joseph H. Varner, 64, of Orbisonia, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at his residence.

Born on December 19, 1961 in Huntingdon, PA, he was the son of the late Harold and Dorothy (Burket) Varner.

He is survived by son Joshua Varner, Manheim, PA, siblings James Varner and wife Tammy, Jackie Carlin and husband Terry and Jeffrey Varner and companion Tracy, nephews Terry Carlin, Jr. and wife Stacey and James “Bo” Varner, Jr., nieces Jennifer Carlin and Taylor Boden, great-nephews Trenton Carlin, Devin Carlin, Logan Williams, Blake Boden and Wyatt Boden and great-nieces Hannah Carlin, Alexis Williams, Jenna Williams and Dixie Boden.

He is also survived by best friend BJ Mooney.

Mr. Varner was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves.

During his lifetime he was employed as a lineman.  He enjoyed shooting pool in several local leagues and loved his dogs, especially Ranger.
