John “Johnny” D. Gladfelter, Jr, 40, of Huntingdon, PA, died Friday, January 30, 2026 at his home.
Born on June 28, 1985 in Huntingdon, PA, he was the son of John D. Gladfelter, Sr. and Lisa (Stewart) Gladfelter. He was united in marriage to Samantha (VanWinkle) Gladfelter on August 5, 2022. Mrs. Gladfelter survives at their home.
He is survived by children, biological daughter (24), Alexander Gladfelter (20), Madison Kiselevach (17), Alexander Boyd (21), Max Boyd (16), Isabelle Boyd (13) and Aurora Boyd (8). He is also survived by one sister, Jessie Williams and companion Aaron. Also, his beloved cat, Cali, whom he loved like a child.
Mr. Gladfelter was preceded in death by one maternal grandmother, Margaret (Miller) Stewart.
During his life he was employed at Boxer’s Cafe.
Johnny loved spending time with his friends and family, karaoke nights at Memories, and was an avid New York Giants and Yankees fan. While Johnny did not attend a specific church, he had an unwavering relationship with God and he loved to share that with everyone.
He was larger than life, and everybody felt it. Now we’re left incomplete, trying to understand the meaning of being lonely. We may not want it that way, but this isn’t the end of the road.
A celebration of life will be held at Memories Sports Bar and Grill, Huntingdon, PA on Wednesday February 4, 2026 at 6:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley Street, Orbisonia, PA 17243.
