Jean K. Wible

Jean K. Wible, 82, formerly of RD, Three Springs, PA, died Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Westminster Woods, Huntingdon, PA.

Born August 1, 1938 at Saltillo, PA, she was a daughter of the late Blair and Elma (Nonemaker) Kough. She was united in marriage to Lewis Lee Wible on June 11, 1960. Mr. Wible preceded in death on September 11, 2018.

She is survived by three children, Keith Wible and his wife Wendy of Jessup, MD, Kent Wible and his wife Cami of State College, PA and Kelly Wible Hampton and her husband Ronnie of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Brooke Hamberger, Amy Garlington, Emily Wible, Casey Wible, Colin Wible, Ariana Hampton and Gabriella Hampton and two sisters, Joan Barth of Mechanicsburg, PA and Carol Davis of Shippensburg, PA. One brother, Edgar “Bub” Kough, preceded her in death. 

Mrs. Wible was a member of the Cherry Grove Church of God, RD, Three Springs, PA and at one time was active in the PTA. She was a graduate of Shippensburg University in the Class of 1960.

She was employed as a teacher in the Southern Huntingdon County School District, mostly at Spring Farms Elementary School.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Cherry Grove Cemetery, RD, Three Springs, PA.
