Jean K. Walker

Jean K. Walker, 88, of Beacon Lodge Road, Mt. Union, PA, died Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

Born May 10, 1931 at Mt. Union, PA, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Effie (Byers) Jury. 

She is survived by one sister, Darlene Cowan of Mt. Union, PA and a number of nieces and nephews. One brother, Willis Jury and two sisters, Thelma Louanna Varner and Louise Jury, preceded in death.

During her life she was employed by Robin Footwear, Mt. Union, PA and Empire Kosher, Inc., Mt. Union, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church, 22776 Piper Lane, Shade Gap, PA with Rev. Berry Brown officiating. Interment will be made at Fair Ridge Cemetery, adjacent to the church. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.
