James L. Willis, 49, of Saltillo, PA, died Friday morning, January 1, 2021 at his home.
Born June 12, 1971 at Huntingdon, PA, he was a son of the late Charles and Darla (Shope) Willis. He had been married to the former Carol Evans who survives of Mill Creek, PA.
He is also survived by one daughter, Skyler Willis of Mill Creek, PA, one brother, Richard Willis and his wife Jennifer of Saltillo, PA, one sister, Trudy Wagner and her husband Michael of Petersburg, PA, four nephews, Camden and Casey Willis and Samuel and Daniel Wagner and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jerry and Mildred Shope and his paternal grandparents, George and Goldie Young.
Mr. Willis was of the Methodist faith. He had been a member of Boy Scout Troop 237, Orbisonia, PA, where he earned his Eagle Scout Award.
He graduated from Southern Huntingdon County High School in the Class of 1989. He then graduated with honors from DeVry Institute where he earned a degree in electronics.
He was last employed by Bowhead Capabilities at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA, as an electronics technician.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be made privately at the I. O. O. F. Memorial Cemetery, Rockhill Furnace, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, P. O. Box 220, Orbisonia, PA 17243, to assist with the cost of arrangements.
