James A. Doyle

James A. Doyle, 66, of Sawmill Road, Blairs Mills, PA, died Monday, May 13, 2024 at his home.

Born February 26, 1958 at Huntingdon, PA, he was a son of the late Wendell and Vera (Lane) Doyle. He was united in marriage to the former Julie Ansell on March 25, 1978. Mrs. Doyle survives at their home.

He is also survived by two children, Allise R. Fink of Huntingdon and Jeremy A. Doyle and wife Erica of Mt. Union, PA, four grandchildren, Ashlynn Suchan, Andon Suchan, Mattie Suchan and Adalynn Fink and two brothers, Charles Doyle of Reedsville, PA and William Doyle of Shade Gap, PA. Four sisters, Sandra Wheeler, Marlene Doyle, Darlene Ashman and Linda Edgin and two brothers, Richard Doyle and Max Doyle, preceded in death.

Mr. Doyle was a member of Cromwell Lodge #572, F. & A. M., Orbisonia and the Orbisonia-Rockhill Sportsman’s Association.

He retired from JLG Industries, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA after 30 years service as a welder.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved his animals and spending time with his grandchildren.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
