Jacqueline Jean Swartz, 84, Frankford, DE, and formerly of Orbisonia, PA, died Saturday morning, April 18, 2020 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.
Born August 3, 1935 at Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late George Arthur and Camilla Charlotte (Krause) Jamison.
Mrs. Swartz is survived by a son John Dennis Swartz and wife Teresa, Clayton, DE along with two grandsons: John Dennis Swartz, Jr., and wife Katrina, Smyrna, DE and Jacob Daniel Swartz, Clayton, DE. Also there are three great grandsons: Joseph, Tucker and Lucas Swartz.
A son Joseph David Swartz preceded in death in 1991.
Two brothers, Robert Arthur Jamison and Terry Jamison, survive of Orbisonia.
A brother Frederick Jamison is deceased.
She was a member of the Orbisonia Church of the Nazarene and later at Holden’s Chapel, Sudlersville, MD.
Mrs. Swartz was a licensed practical nurse. She had worked at the Masonic Homes, Elizabethtown, PA and later as a private duty nurse.
She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Sunday dinners, and traveling to Disney. Also she enjoyed crocheting, quilting and needlepoint.
Due to the current pandemic, funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Pastor Darrell Nicklow and Pastor John Swartz, Jr. will officiate with interment following at the I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemetery, Rockhill Furnace, PA. Arrangements are by the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, PA.
