It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Jack S. Everhart, 90, of Three Springs, PA, who went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at his home.
Born on July 8, 1932 in Saltillo, PA, he was the son of the late Walter and Adaline (Snyder) Everhart. He was united in marriage to Anna B. Leighty on June 16, 1953. Mrs. Everhart preceded in death on January 23, 2022.
Mr. Everhart is survived by son Duke Everhart and wife Carol, Three Springs, PA, grandchildren Cole Everhart, Scott Everhart, Jaimie Rogers, Matt Rogers, Jennie Hoover and Annmarie Everhart and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, daughter Diane Rogers and siblings Audrey and Ethelda Whitsel preceded in death.
Mr. Everhart was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He was a member of Grace United Methodist, Three Springs, PA, member of Madden-Wennick Post 518, American Legion, Rockhill Furnace, PA and a graduate of Saltillo High School, Saltillo, PA.
During his lifetime, Mr. Everhart worked at HarbisonWalker Refractory, Mt. Union, PA. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time on Raystown Lake and baseball, having played in the Huntingdon County League and the Huntingdon City League. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 21, 2023 at Three Springs Cemetery, Three Springs, PA. At the graveside service, we will also be honoring the memory of Mr. Everhart’s late wife, Anna B. Everhart.
