Hilda A. Gibbons

Hilda A. Gibbons, 100, of Van Buren Road, Blairs Mills, PA, died Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at AristaCare at Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.

Born March 22,1920 in Tell Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA, she was a daughter of the late Harper and Faye (Hockenberry) Parson. She was united in marriage to Paul W. Gibbons on January 1, 1940. Mr. Gibbons preceded in death on August 14, 1993.

She is survived by four children, Bonnie Johnson and husband Wayne of Blairs Mills, PA, Wayne Gibbons and wife Serena of Spring Run, PA, Judy Robinson of Blairs Mills, PA and Roger Gibbons and wife Karen of Blairs Mills, PA, fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, eleven great great grandchildren and one sister, Thelma Johnson of Blairs Mills, PA. She was preceded in death by four sons, Ronald, Charles, Darwin and Timothy, one son in law, Ed Robinson, one daughter in law, Pat Gibbons, six brothers, one sister and one great grandson.

Mrs. Gibbons was a member of the Nossville United Methodist Church, RD, Blairs Mills, PA.

During her life she was a homemaker and was also employed at Greif Brothers Manufacturing, Inc., Mt. Union, PA and Dallco Industries, Inc., Spring Run, PA.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Salem Cemetery, RD, Blairs Mills, PA with Rev. Dennis Hunsinger officiating.
