Herbert N. Whitehouse

Herbert N. Whitehouse, 85, formerly of Burnt Cabins, PA, died Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.

Born July 26, 1938 at Orange, NJ, he was a son of the late Herbert Frank and Helen (Mumma) Whitehouse. He was united in marriage to the former Ruth Finley who preceded in death. He later married the former Ethel Squire who survives of Virginia Beach, VA.

He is also survived by four children, Brenda Covert and husband Ken of Cassville, PA, Cynthia Pyles and husband Joel of St. Thomas, PA, Randall Whitehouse and companion Alicia of Marion, PA and Ruth Horn and husband Art of Manheim, PA, eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, three great great granddaughters and one brother, Charles Chambers of Michigan. One great grandson and one sister, Evelyn Webb, preceded in death.

Mr. Whitehouse was of the protestant faith.

He retired from Carolina freight, Inc., as a truck driver after many years.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 31, 2024 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday.
