Helen J. (Parson) Wagner

Helen J. Wagner, 86, of Cromwell St., Orbisonia, PA, died Thursday, April 25, 2019 at her home.

Born December 22, 1932 at Mount Union, PA, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Stella (Parson) Parson.

She is survived by six children, John E. Wagner, Jr. and wife Pam of McVeytown, PA, Nancy J. Clark and husband Walter of RD, Shirleysburg, PA, Timothy Wagner and wife Sharon of Hustontown, PA, Cheryl L. Hankenson and husband Ron of McConnellsburg, PA, Tammy Camarota and companion Scott Todd of Mercersburg, PA and Karen J. Emery and husband Mervin of RD, Orbisonia, PA.

She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and two sisters, Pauline Matthew and Mary Norris, both of Palmyra, PA.

Ms. Wagner had attended the Valley Point Church of the Brethren, Blacklog Valley Road, Orbisonia, PA.

She retired in 1997 from the former Woodland Retirement Center, Orbisonia, PA after serving 12 years as a cook. She also worked at the former Orbisonia Branch of the Huntingdon County Library and was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Rev. Joel Snyder officiating. Interment will be made privately at Haven Rest Memorial Park, Croghan Pike, Shirleysburg, PA. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday.
