Helen P. (Sowers) Moore

Helen P. Moore, 86, of Three Springs, PA, died Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at her daughter’s residence.

Born on January 4, 1936 in Huntingdon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Merle and Beulah (Mills) Sowers.  She was united in marriage to Robert R. Moore, Sr. on April 1, 1956 in Three Springs, PA.  Mr. Moore preceded in death on January 1, 2000.

She is survived by children Jana Cohenour, Three Springs, PA, Tammy Sechrist and husband Earl, Three Springs, PA, Richard Moore, Mount Union, PA and Darrell Moore, Three Springs, PA, grandchildren Tracey Sechrist, Misty Park, Lindsay Geib, Kristen Miller, Jordan Moore and Hannah Sechrist and thirteen great-grandchildren.  Sister Blanche Snyder also survives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by infant grandson Bentley Seibert and siblings Howard Sowers, Theodore Sowers, Donald Sowers and Betty Sourbeck.

Mrs. Moore was a member of the Cromwell United Bible Church, Three Springs, PA.

During her lifetime, she was a homemaker who was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, loved by many.  She was an awesome cook and loved to play bingo.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Cromwell United Bible Church, 19799 Hill Valley Rd., Three Springs, PA with Pastor Titus Palmer officiating.  Interment will be at Monroe Valley Cemetery, Three Springs, PA.  Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday.
