Helen Mae (Runk) Greenland

Helen Mae Greenland, 90, formerly of Three Springs, PA, died at 9:30 AM, Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.

Born on June 25, 1935 in Hustontown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Knepper) Runk.  She was united in marriage to Edwin D. Greenland on June 29, 1956.  Mr. Greenland preceded in death on September 8, 2014.

Mrs. Greenland is survived by son Ronald Greenland and wife Cynthia, Liverpool, PA, daughter-in-law Lori Greenland, Shippensburg, PA, son-in-law Mike Fontenot, Lafayette, LA, grandchildren Jeremiah Greenland and wife Becky, Newburg, PA, Joshua Greenland, York, PA, Zachary Greenland, Hummelstown, PA, Jacinda Hasley, Leesburg, FL and Matthew Fontenot, North Carolina.  There are five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughters Deborah Parsons and Bonnie Fontenot and son Randy Greenland.

Mrs. Greenland had attended the Cherry Grove Church of God, Three Springs, PA.

During her lifetime, she worked as a nurse’s aide at the Fulton County Medical Center.  She enjoyed gardening, baking, hunting and fishing.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the Cherry Grove Church of God, 7590 Cherry Grove Church Road, Three Springs, PA with Pastor Alann Schmidt and Pastor Alan Painter officiating.  Interment will be at Cherry Grove Cemetery, Three Springs, PA.  Friends may call at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley Street, Orbisonia, PA from 6 - 8:00 PM Friday evening and at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Three Springs Volunteer Fire Company, PO Box 371, Three Springs, PA.
