Grace M. Miller

Grace M. Miller, 90, a resident of Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries, Hollidaysburg, PA, died Saturday, November 7, 2020.

Born June 28, 1930 at Hawstone, PA, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Olive (Gutshall) Mentzer. She was united in marriage to Donald W. Miller on June 23, 1974. Mr. Miller survives at the nursing home.

She is also survived by three children, Jamey Miller and his wife Beverly of Huntingdon, PA, Debra Dial and her husband Larry of Petersburg, VA and Donna Miller of East Freedom, PA, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one brother, Merrill Mentzer and his wife Mary Ann of Shippensburg, PA and a number of nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by five sisters, Ruth Kyler, Esther Wagner, Helen Mellott, Freda Mentzer and Flo Scott and six brothers, Earl, Blaine, Cloyd, Jerry, Dale and Carl Mentzer.

Mrs. Miller attended the Puzzletown Bible Church. 

She retired from the former Owens-Corning Fiberglass, Inc., Huntingdon, PA and prior to that was employed by Greif Bros. Manufacturing, Mt. Union, PA..

She will be remembered as a hard worker who enjoyed music and flower gardening.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, RD, Shade Gap, PA. with Pastor Bob Maurer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or to the American Heart Association.
